All the grandkids came out here to dye easter eggs this year. What a party we had! As we were setting out the dye cups with the little color pill in them, Denim decided that they must be candy so she picked the yellow one out of the cup and started eating it. Needless to say, she soon spit it out thinking it was pretty nasty and her mouth and clothes were covered in yellow dye. Grady didn't need a spoon to put the egg in and out of the dye cups, he just used his hands and his grip was pretty tight so most of his eggs ended up crushed. Halle tried to be careful with her eggs but some of them would slip out of her hands onto the floor and whe would quietly exclaim, "Oh, another one cracked." By the time we were finished, the bowl with cracked eggs had way more in it than the bowl with uncracked eggs. Thank goodness the Easter Bunny will have plenty of plastic eggs to make up the difference - He's going to need them!!
